About Delifresh
We were the first, as early as 2003, to offer keyhole-marked meals. We changed our menus, which resulted in a change for the entire fast food industry.
It did not take long before our competitors followed our lead and made more or less the same changes.
Little fat but lots of taste
Our Delifresh product family includes food, drinks and desserts with little fat but lots of taste. Choose a green salad, mini carrots or a fruit salad with your Delifresh meal and a diet soft drink, juice or water to make your meal keyhole-marked! Max also offers meals with low GI.
Fast food? Delifresh took 7 months to develop!
The development work for the new Delifresh family took us 7 months and is still in progress. Below are some of the changes we made when we launched Delifresh:
- Chicken burgers with rye bread containing only 6% fat.
- The Delifresh box with a new hamburger, fruit salad and juice resulted in a decrease in the meal's fat content from 12.5% to 4%!
- The new line also includes a new low fat dressing (7.6%) and new low fat soft ice cream (app. 2.5%) and fruit salad as a dessert choice.
What happened next?
- 2004: Keyhole-marked pasta salad.
- 2005: Low Carb burger, a hamburger with out bread. Low fat keyhole-marked hamburgers, just as lean as cottage cheese. No trans fats at Max!
- 2006: Bean-salad with low GI.
- 2007: Meals with low GI.
Guaranteed Swedish
Max is the only national hamburger chain that guarantees Swedish beef and Swedish chicken.
We sympathize with the treatment of Swedish animals and we feel confident about the careful controls applied by our Swedish suppliers.
The consistent quality of Swedish beef and Swedish chicken enables us to guarantee that our burgers taste exactly how you expect them to taste.
Winning Swedish Hearts

Taste is absolutely the most important aspect for us at MAX - nothing lies closer to our hearts! If there is something we are known for, it is that the majority of the people think our hamburgers taste the best. Proof: Most of the time, we have the highest ratings in all the taste tests conducted in Sweden (just recently according to SIFO and ISI Wissing 2007).
In short: We know how to win the Swedish heart!
